Welcome to The Earn from the Internet Site Blog. A supplemental news and reviews blog to earnfromtheinternet.com This is a brand spanking shiny new home for our Blog which we have recently moved over from Blogger. Gomez Peer – Earn Cash with your PC

Gomez Peer has has been around sometime now – although open to members worldwide they are currently looking for more members to join from the UK.

The Gomez Peer is a small piece of software that you download and it then works unobtrusively out of view using your computer processor to test the performance of websites.

Once you become an active member (this isn’t guaranteed, but to give yourself a better chance to become active just keep running the software, their demographics for who they need to use their software changes monthly) you are paid for every hour you run the Gomez Peer + additionally for any processing time.  Payment rates are changing regularly so be sure to check out the Gomez Peer website for payment rates in your country.

They will also pay you $1 for every person  you refer who becomes active.  Their minimum payout is only $5 payable via PayPal. For a more in depth explanation as to how it all works, take a look at their site.

Have been paid many times with this one, so is well worth a look!

UK Paid Survey: My Survey (formerly Lightspeed)

Lightspeed UK has now changed to My Survey. Questionnaires and Surveys are rewarded in pretty much the same way as before, in the form of points for which you can exchange for high street store vouchers or cash via Paypal.

You can claim a Paypal payment at only £3 (when you have enough points of course – this usually works out at approx 350 points) and to redeem your points against high street voucher is variable, depending on the voucher you want and the amount you want.

If you love taking surveys and you are a UK resident then this one is definetely worth adding to your paid survey portfolio.  They currently seem to be sending us surveys on a daily basis, of course you will not fit the criteria for all of them, but if you are screened out of a survey then you will usually earn prize draw entries instead.

LinkShare & LinkShare UK

A lot of our regular visitors who are involved in affiliate marketing may already be aware of Linkshare. If your not, Linkshare is a program that offers the opportunity for affiliates and publishers like you, to sell goods, products and services on behalf of online stores, sites, and advertisers. In return for your reffering sales and/or leads you will earn a commission on each and every sale you make, which varies between advertisers.  It could be a set amount for a lead or a percentage of the amount of the order.

Affiliate marketing has always been a great favourite of ours for earning a little extra cash online, because the principal is simple and you have a far greater chance of earning more than you ever would with the likes of say, paid to click and paid to read email programs.

Affilliate networks like this will more often than not, require you to have an up and running website or blog – well lets face it, advertisers want to know how and where you are going to be promoting them, wouldn’t you if it was your business!

A lot of advertisers will also have conditions of being a part of their program – some will not want you to promote their brand via PPC, others via social networking and so on.

Linkshare has a vast amount of advertisers and partners to affiliate with, the UK program of course has UK advertisers and partners targeted to your demographic.

US Paid Survey: ACOP

ACOP at one point did take on members from all over the world, but unfortunately now they are only accepting members from the US.

ACOP is probably one of the biggest paid survey companies in the world, and has been around for some time now.  We joined this program a few years ago when it was open to all international members, and we do occasionally receive the odd paid survey to complete, but it isn’t a great money earning program now for international members and ACOP have probably received more interest from companies wishing to pursue American demographics and interests and therefore has become a US only paid survey program.

Join American Consumer Opinion and get Free Cash for taking online surveys. Typically $4 to $25 for each survey you complete. Plus, a monthly drawing to win $250 in cash, just for being a member.

Remember only open to residents of the US.

US Paid Survey: GlobalTestMarket USA

Global Test Market

This is the US version of GlobalTestMarket – for the International version read the review here.

This US version of GlobalTestMarket offers pretty much everything the international and other country specific versions do, but surveys are targetted more to your demographics and interests in the US.  You earn points in exactly the same way as the main program and the average you can earn per survey is around 30-50 points. Even if you are not eligible to take a survey when you have completed the initial screening questions, you will probably be entered into a prize draw. Points are of course exchangeable for cash. You can redeem your points when you earn a minimum of 1000. 1 point is equivalent to 5c.

Remember this is the US only version of GlobalTestMarket.
